Ducati might launch two variants of Scrambler in November
Snapshot: Ducati is expected to launch one 400 and one 800 variant of its much awaited Scrambler at EICMA 2014
Ducati has been playing hide and seek with its Scramble from some time now. It also showcased the new Scrambler to the very excited Ducatisi at World Ducati Week held at Misano Circuit which concluded this Sunday. The Scrambler is expected to be powered by the 803cc twin-cylinder engine that is also the heart of the highly successful Monster 796 which ideally delivers an impressive 87bhp of optimum power.
However, a new video that is creating a buzz in the industry has made us think that Ducati might surprise us with something extra at Milan Motorcycle Show. The video seems to of a small capacity Ducati, which the insiders say will be a reality soon. The exhaust note is more like a single-cylinder, but a twin-cylinder option also cannot be ruled out. The bike should ideally be making around 45-50bhp of power.
As for the prices, the rumours say that the Ducati 800 should be around € 7,500 - 8,000 (Rs 6.06 - 6.47 lakhs), whereas the Ducati 400 should be for € 6,000 - 6,500 (Rs 4.85 - 5.25 lakhs).
